My camera doesn’t have a paparazzi capacity to zoom but it is sufficient to give an acceptable look at my neighbors in Bangkok. I am often fascinated by the way children play. It does not take much to make them happy.

At low tide, these children invent games to play on the boat wreck. I would do the same thing if I were them. As children, there is no talk of hygiene or danger. Recently, I see a lot of young children in the news about the flood victims in Thailand. Children, excited by the thought of having a free swimming pool right inside and around their houses, cease the moment to swim around. Their laughter contrasts with the grave situations the adults are facing. At least some children don’t suffer so much.
เวลาน้ำลงเด็กเหล่านี้จะไปเล่นเกมบนซากเรือ ถ้าฉันเป็นเด็กก็คงทำแบบนี้เหมือนกัน เวลาเราเป็นเด็ก เรื่องความสะอาดและความปลอดภัยไม่ต้องพูดถึง เมื่อเร็วๆนี้มีภาพเด็กมากหน้าหลายตาในข่าวน้ำท่วมบ้านเรา เด็กที่ตื่นเต้นกับการมีสระว่ายน้ำในบ้านและรอบๆบ้านโฉบฉวยโอกาสดำผุดดำว่าย รอยยิ้มบนใบหน้าเด็กช่างแตกต่างจากสภาพวิกฤตหนักหนาสาหัสที่ผู้ใหญ่ต้องเผชิญอยู่ในขณะนี้ อย่างน้อยเด็กบางคนก็ไม่ต้องทนทุกข์ทรมานมากนัก
If only more pools and playgrounds could be available to everyone, the pictures that I see would be more perfect.
ถ้าหากว่าสระว่ายน้ำและสนามเด็กเล่นมีมากว่านี้ให้ทุกๆคนได้ใช้ร่วมกันภาพที่ฉันเห็นคงจะสมบูรณ์แบบกว่านี้
