Last week was one of the hottest week ever. It was also one of the busiest weeks for us at Euretha Atelier. As a working partner of Quartier Libre in Khao Yai, we set up a summer camp for children between the age of 7 to 12 at AGLC Center.

Although the weather was boiling hot, the children made everything so much more joyful. They adapted quite well to the environment and they charmed us all right from the moment they hopped off the bus.

We had a lot of activities. I taught art and craft. The children made some wonderful work.
Then they had music sessions. Michel and I enjoyed watching our energetic Quartier Libre colleague taught rhythms through unconventional methods.
When there were free times, the children played. There was a bond fire night and children discos where some children manage to fall asleep half way through the program.

The children made new friends, made something nice things to take home, learnt to be independent, made music together without any interruptions from TV, video games and internet.
เด็กๆได้เพื่อนใหม่ ได้เอางานที่ทำเสร็จติดไม้ติดมือกลับไปบ้าน ได้ลิ้มรสความเป็นอิสระ ได้เล่นดนตรีวงใหญ่ โดยไม่มีทีวี วิดีโอเกมส์และอินเตอร์เน็ตมาทำลายสมาธิเลย
I cannot wait to run a camp like this again. This kind of thing makes you want to get up to go to work in the morning. Work should be fun. I have been thinking a lot about life and what we are here for lately. Life is only worth living if you seek happiness through connection with people and I mean by being there physically with them.
อยากมีงานแบบนี้อีกเรื่อยๆ ประสพการณ์แบบนี้กระตุ้นให้เราอยากตื่นเช้าไปทำงาน การทำงานควรจะมีปัจจัยความสุขเป็นหลัก พักหลังๆฉันคิดเรื่องชีวิตและตั้งคำถามว่าเราเกิดมาทำไม ชีวิตจะมีคุณค่าก็ต่อเมื่อเราได้ค้นหาความสุขจากการเชื่อมสัมพันธ์กับคนหลายๆคนแบบที่ต้องเจอกันตัวต่อตัว
