I’m sure you know what it is like when you want to do something creative. Sometimes things get a little bit sticky.
Knitting this scarf is really a test of endurance. In another life this cotton yarn was bought for a crochet pattern. A cardigan. After a few days of battling with the pattern, I realized that the yarn and the pattern were not compatible. It took me even longer to convince myself to give up crocheting something that wasn’t going to work- Something that eventually end up not being worn.
I unraveled the piece and was left with a big ball of yarn. I had to recycle it somehow.

บอกได้เลยว่าถักนิ้ตติ้งผ้าพันคอผืนนี้เป็นงานหินมากๆ ไหมพรมเป็นของเก่าที่โอนมาจากโปรเจ็กโครเชต์ที่ล่มไป โปรเจ็กเสื้อหนาว พยายามทำอยู่หลายวันก็ไม่สำเร็จ จนต้องยอมรับความจริงว่าไหมพรมกับแพทเทิร์นโครเชต์ไม่ถูกโฉลกกัน แต่ฉันก็ยังดันทุรังทำต่อทั้งที่รู้ว่าไปไม่รอดแน่-ถึงเสร็จก็คงไม่ได้ใส่
ในที่สุดก็ยอมเลาะไหมพรมจนมันกลายสภาพเป็นไหมพรมมัดใหญ่ ต้องเอาไปรีไซเคิ้ลไม่งั้นเสียของ
So I started something simple…. a scarf. Nobody ever told me that the unraveled cotton yarn is so difficult to use. It gets into difficult knots, tears easily and the fluff or lint flies everywhere. I need a facemask.
A lot of time wasted in making the wrong decision in the first place. More time wasted in turning back. It cannot beat me. Anyway, it looks OK for now. Knit one…Purl one……..
คราวนี้มีทางเดียวที่จะเอาอยู่ คือต้องทำอะไรง่ายเข้าไว้....ทำผ้าพันคอ ไม่เห็นมีใครเคยบอกเลยว่าไหมพรมค้อตต้อนที่เลาะออกมาจากแพทเทิร์นอื่นมันใช้ยากขนาดนี้ หงิกงอเป็นปมง่าย ขาดง่ายด้วย แล้วปุยฝ้ายฟุ้งกระจายเป็นฝุ่นเวลาถัก ตอนนี้สิ่งที่อยากได้คือหน้ากากปิดจมูก
เสียเวลาไปเยอะตั้งแต่ตัดสินใจผิดแต่แรก เสียเวลาเพิ่มอีกตอนเริ่มต้นใหม่ แพ้ไม่ได้แล้ว ใจชื้นนิดหน่อยตรงที่มันดูใช้ได้ นิ้ตหนึ่ง...... เพิร์ลหนึ่ง น๊ะ......
