Guest Blogger: Window Shopping in Florence with Pakatip

Pakatip Dejaturat is our first guest blogger. “Tip” as I know her is a stylish artist/ designer and former university lecturer in fashion design. ผกาทิพย์ เดชจตุรัสเป็นบล็อกเกอร์แขกผู้มีเกียรติของเรา ทิพย์เป็นศิลปินกึ่งดีไซเนอร์หรือดีไซเนอร์กึ่งศิลปินรสนิยมเก๋ไก๋และเคยเป็นอาจารย์ประจำที่มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่ง ทิพย์เพิ่งไปร่ำเรียนวิชาออกแบบตัดเย็บกระเป๋าด้วยมือที่อิตาลี ลองเข้าไปดูผลงานน่าปลื้มกระตุ้นต่อมครีเอทในเฟซบุ๊คของทิพย์ (Pakatip Dejaturat)

ในบล็อกวันนี้ ทิพย์พาเราไปเดินชมร้านรวงต่างๆแถวบ้านที่เมืองฟลอเรนซ์ ตามเธอไปเลยค่ะ……

"I had the opportunity to go to study leather bag making in Florence, Italy. Summer arrived before I returned to Thailand. Window shopping was one of my regular activities. Just looking was enough make me feel happy. I can say that the window displays in Florence is one of the most unique and beautiful in the world.

This store Mossimo Dutti (They have stores in Thailand as well) displays their products in a simple and elegant way, yet evokes the feeling of a chic and deluxe vacation on the beach. I was very much interested in the 2 bags at the front. I already own a hat like that.


"ฉันได้มีโอกาสไปศึกษาด้านการทำกระเป๋าหนังที่เมืองฟลอเรนซ์ในอิตาลี ก่อนที่จะกลับเมืองไทย เป็นช่วงฤดูร้อนของที่นั่นพอดี กิจกรรมที่ทำเป็นประจำที่นู่น ก็คือการวินโดว์ช้อปปิ้ง เรียกว่าแค่ได้มองก็มีความสุขแล้ว  พูดได้เลยว่าการจัดดิสเพลย์ร้านค้าในฟลอเรนซ์มีเอกลักษณ์โดดเด่นและ สวยงามที่สุดในโลก  

ร้านนี้ชื่อร้านมอสสิโม ดุตติ (เมืองไทยก็มียี่ห้อนี้ขายนะคะ) จัดวางโชว์สินค้าอย่างเรียบง่ายและสง่างาม แต่ให้ความรู้สึกของการไปพักผ่อนตามรีสอร์ทชายทะเลแบบชิคเท่ห์หรู ฉันสนใจกระเป๋าสองใบด้านหน้าเป็นพิเศษ ส่วนหมวกแบบนี้ฉันมีแล้ว 

RASPINI displays the collection of children's clothing as if there are in the garden. The fabric is light and one could feel the softness of silk-cotton, a fiber combination used in clothing here. They were printed with lovely floral patterns.

ร้านราสปินิ จัดวางคอลเลคชั่นเสื้อผ้าเด็กเหมือนอยู่ในสวนดอกไม้ ใช้เนื้อผ้าบางเบาเมื่อจับดูให้ความรู้สึกนิ่มแบบฝ้ายแกมไหมซึ่งจะเป็นผ้าที่นิยมใช้ในเสื้อผ้าของที่นี เสื้อมีลายพิมพ์ดอกไม้น่ารัก
 

Salvatore Ferragamo welcomes the summer season with colorful leather shoes. Every time I walked pass by this store I would stare at their display at least 10 minutes. Only when I was completely satisfied I would walk away.

ร้านซาลวาทอเร เฟรากาโม ต้อนรับหน้าร้อนด้วยรองเท้าหนังฉลุลายสีสันสดใส ทุกครั้งที่เดินผ่านร้านนี้ฉันก็จะไปยืนจ้องอยู่ประมาณ 10 นาที เมื่อพอใจแล้วค่อยเดินต่อไป

Men's clothing stores ROBERTO BIAGINI displays their pastel colors of pistachio and capuccino. A breath of fresh air, since you would never see these colors in winter time. Handmade shoes are placed with matching colors.

ร้านเสื้อผ้าผู้ชายโรแบร์โตบิอาจินินำเสื้อสูทสีพาสเทล เขียว และ น้ำตาล เป็นสีที่เราไม่เห็นเลยในฤดูหนาว มาจัดวางคู่กับรองเท้าแฮนด์เมดสีเข้าชุดกัน 

Jewelry shop displays the front glass box with brooches, earrings and bracelets made from carved shells, corals and pearls for the summer season. Florence is a famous city for the Jewelry. I only found this out when I arrived here and saw the kind of jewelry that I’ve never seen elsewhere in the world with its roots in the Renaissance tradition of craftsmanship. The style of jewelry is exceptional, both beautiful and eccentric.

ร้านขายจิวเวลรี่ จัดวางสินค้าในตู้กระจกหน้าร้านด้วย เข็มกลัด ต่างหู และสร้อยข้อมือ ทำจากเปลือกหอยแกะสลัก ประการังสีส้มและไข่มุกต้อนรับฤดูร้อน ฟลอเรนซ์เป็นเมืองที่มีชื่อเสียงเรื่องจิวเวลรี่มาก ฉันก็เพิ่งรู้ตอนมาอยู่ที่นี่ แล้วเห็นผลงานเครื่องประดับแบบที่ไม่เคยเห็นที่อื่นในโลก ด้วยเอกลักษณ์งานช่างซึ่งถือกำเหนิดจากรากเหง้าสกุลช่างยุคเรอเนสซองส์ จึงทำให้รูปแบบของเครื่องประดับที่นี่ไม่เหมือนใคร ทั้งสวยและประหลาด

The display of the colorful kitchenware for COIN- the local Italian brand that sells home products similar to IKEA, but my Italian friend told me that the quality is a lot better. She refuses to buy the foreign brands.

ดิสเพลย์เครื่องครัวสีสดหน้าร้านโคอิน เป็นร้านของใช้ แต่เป็นแบรนด์ท้องถิ่นของอิตาลี ขายของคล้ายๆแบรนด์ไอเคีย แต่เพื่อนชาวอิตาเลี่ยนของฉันบอกว่า คุณภาพดีกว่ามาก และปฏิเสธที่จะซื้อของแบรนด์นำเข้า

Postcards and stationary shop by the river Arno, I really like this shop, when anyone come to visit me in Florence, I always take them to this shop. I love the paper they use to print their postcards. You can also find the prints on the leather cover of the notebooks.

ร้านโปสต์การ์ด และเครื่องเขียน(เลียน)แบบโบราณริมแม่น้ำอาร์โน ฉันชอบร้านนี้มาก เวลาใครมา ฟลอเรนซ์ทีไร ฉันก็จะพาไปดูร้านนี้ทุกครั้ง ฉันชอบกระดาษที่เขาใช้พิมพ์โปสการ์ด และมีการพิมพ์ลวดลายลงไปบนสมุดปกหนังด้วย 

Grocery stores in Italian style. The inside is filled with a variety of pasta, wines and dried food. The outside is placed with carved wooden kitchenware and fresh fruits, and also most important, olive oil. The Italians are very serious about olive oil. The best kind is not to be bought but homemade by their grandmother from the south, something like that.

ร้านโชห่วยแบบอิตาเลียน ด้านในเต็มไปด้วยเส้นพาสต้าแบบต่างๆ ไวน์ และของแห้ง ด้านนอกจัดวางเครื่องครัวแกะสลักจากไม้ ผลไม้สด และที่ขาดไม่ได้น้ำมันมะกอก คนอิตาเลี่ยนซีเรียสเรื่องน้ำมันมะกอกมาก ถ้าจะให้ดีที่สุดต้องเป็นแบบไม่ได้ซื้อมา แต่คุณย่าฉันทำเองจากทางใต้ อะไรทำนองนั้น

Summer is the season for wedding ceremonies. Even I have been to one. This shop is the old coffee shop called GILLI, open since 1733. They decorate the front window with chocolate, eye catching pink sweets, lilies and white cotton organza, and the girl in the reflection is me."

ในฤดูร้อนนี้มีคนจัดงานแต่งงานเป็นจำนวนมาก ฉันเองก็ได้มีโอกาสไปมางานหนึ่ง ร้านนี้เป็นร้านกาแฟเก่าแก่ดั้งเดิมชื่อร้านจิลลิ เปิดมาตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 1733 มีการจัดหน้าร้านให้เข้ากับเทศกาลแห่งการแต่งงานด้วยช็อคโกแลต ขนมหวานสีชมพูสะดุดตา ดอกลิลลี่และผ้าออร์แกนซ่าสีขาว ส่วนคนในเงาสะท้อนก็คือฉันเอง"
